About Us

The Alberta Reading Benchmarks are a set of standards for measuring reading in adults. They are adaptable to the diversity of adult learning programs across Alberta and contribute to a more robust foundational learning system in the province. Acknowledgements

Developing the Alberta Reading Benchmarks involved collaboration between The Adult Learning Research Institute, Bow Valley College, and adult literacy, community learning, family literacy, colleges, and government.
